Blueberry Basil Creamy Yogurt Popsicles

When the summer heat hits Salt Spring Island, there's nothing like a nostalgic popsicle. But here at The Jam Factory, we believe in taking things to a new level. Try our unique twist on this beloved treat! Elevating the everyday, these combine the goodness of our gourmet preserves with luscious yogurt and fresh fruit.

Preserves + creamy yogurt are a delicious combination

To make these gourmet delights, all you need is 1/3 cup of your favourite Salt Spring Kitchen Co. jam, 2 1/2 cups of your choice of yogurt (Greek or a coconut work beautifully), and 1/4 cup of fresh fruit, chopped if necessary into 1/4-inch pieces. In a medium bowl combine your jam, yogurt, and fresh fruit, and stir until perfectly combined.

Chill, freeze, and unwind

Now comes the fun part! Take a spoon and fill ten popsicle molds nearly to the top, leaving a 1/4-inch headroom for expansion. Gently tap down on the molds to ensure no gaps or air bubbles interfere. Insert the popsicle sticks, cover the molds, and put them in the freezer for at least 6 hours or overnight.
