From our small start at the Saturday Market here in Ganges, we’ve come a long way since 2012.

From Melanie’s home kitchen to our current production space, opening the “jam can” (our repurposed shipping container), we now have a permanent retail shop! Come check out Salt Spring Island's newest culinary hotspot, The Jam Factory at 319 Upper Ganges Road in Ganges.

The three-storefront building, anchored by Salt Spring Kitchen Company, also houses other island favourites The Woodshed Provisions & Francis Bread. Carefully curated preserves, cheeses, cured meats, wood-fired bread, seasonally inspired gourmet food and much more await.

Along with our complete product line, you’ll also find limited edition shop exclusives, with our art inspired shirts, hats, and bags. Pick up all the accompaniments you'll need for a complete feast. Local cheese from our friends at Salt Spring Island Cheese Company, cured meats from HAUS & Four Quarters, Mavericks popsicles and more.

Melanie and the team are so excited to have this permanent retail space to meet and interact with our customers, showcase other island makers, and create more jobs here on the island. Come chat about preserving, try something unique, and stock up on all your favourites.
